I wanted to briefly introduce our Science Project, which will be mostly completed at home. Students have the choice to research a scientific topic that interests them and we are trying to link it to our curriculum for the year (Ecosystems, Heat, Mixtures/Solutions and the Earth's Crust). Most students have expressed interest in subjects already and are excited to begin!
The students can present their project in a variety of ways/mediums and are not limited to the following examples: art pieces/paintings, 3D models, trivia/board games, research papers (science topic or a biography of a scientist), video, Google Document, Google Slides, digital art work, Minecraft for Education displays, etc. Each selection will be accompanied by a short write up that should include information about the selected topic (roughly a page), whereas pure research projects/essays will be approximately 3-5 pages.
The due date for topic selection and project medium is Monday, April 24th, 2023 and the project is due Monday, May 15th, 2023.
