Autoportraits were due today. If yours was not complete and submitted, I have sent an email reminding you (and I have cc'ed your guardian) to complete it for submission on Tuesday.

There were a number of students in class today completing their project when it should have been completed at home.

I had a talk with the class today about deadlines and expectations. Completing it in class while I have moved on to a new topic (Religion: the 10 Commandments) is not acceptable. You must learn to time-manage and be more responsible.

If your child is doing a model or a game then it is due on Monday, Feb. 25.

If your child is doing an experiment then the experiment write-up has to be completed but not all the results need to entirely done. Your child needs to chat with me about their experiment so I can check that everything is okay.

If your child is doing a bridge then it must be in school on Monday, Feb. 25 for me to take pictures and verify it is done properly. Students will get their bridge back that week to take home. They will get a letter for you that will have our school time for the Bridge competition at the Geo Centre on Sat, March 2. We have completed review of chapter 5.

The Chapter 5 quiz is scheduled for Wednesday, January 22.

There are two labs and plenty of worksheets to be completed in the meantime.

This is traditionally one of the most difficult quizzes of the year so students must start now to review.
